Ms. Jera Smith -

Preschool Director

Hi! My name is Jera and I am both the Preschool Director and the Children and Family Ministries Director at The Restoration Point Church. I am also a mother and wife. I have always had a passion for working with children. I have an elementary education degree and previously taught kindergarten. I also have 3 boys and am excited to help create a preschool that they will not only thrive in but build a relationship with Jesus. My desire to direct this preschool comes from a deeply rooted belief that we need to raise up our children in Christ. I am excited to create a place in our community that gives children the opportunity to learn, grow, and worship Christ.

Ms. Lizzy HArpel-

2/3s and lunch bunch teacher

Hello! My name is Lizzy Harpel. I have a bachelor's degree from Western Washington University. I have over five years of experience working with children. Additionally, my work experience ranges from specializing in adults with disabilities to working with at risk youth.

I've worked in a church for three years and absolutely love being a Sunday school teacher. Christ plays a huge role in my life. I am excited to help bring our students closer to Christ and watch them experience God's love.

When I'm not at work, you can find me on hikes with my family, playing the piano, and rooting for the Seattle Mariners.

Ms. Brittney Barber-

2/3s teacher

Hi, my name is Brittney.  I’m a wife and a mom to four! I’m so excited to be teaching this year at Thrive. I have a combined 10 years in children’s education, most of which is Children’s Church.  I’ve served at various churches as Children’s Church Director as well as Nursery Director. I love helping little ones learn, grow, and most importantly have fun!  I strongly believe in play-to-learn so I strive to make every single thing we do as fun as possible.

Ms. Cassidy Lance-

pre k Teacher

Hi, my name is Cassidy.  I’m a wife and mom.  I started working with children as I served in our church as a preteen into adult years.  Before having our son, I worked at a Montessori School as an assistant teacher for four years.   I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for little ones.  I’m excited to be joining the Thrive Preschool team. A few of my favorite things: the color blue, I love riding horses, and I enjoy being a part of our church worship team on vocals.
